The Major Novice Navy Vets are Ontario Alliance Novice Tier 2 champions!  The boys capped off a fantastic season which included multiple 10+ game undefeated streaks, an East Central Alliance title in March and an Ontario Alliance title this past weekend.  They went undefeated in the Championship tournament in St Catharines which included a hard fought 2-1 victory in the championship final game over the Brantford 99ers.  Great job this season boys and on behalf of the coaching staff - thanks for all the memories and remember -- "Hard Work + Team Work = Success"

Congratulations to the Major Novice Navy Vets as they captured the East Central Alliance Tier 2 Novice Championship.  The boys defeated the Brantford 99ers 2 games to 1 in the best of three series with a 4-2 win in the deciding game Monday evening in Brantford.  Brantford took Game 1 of the series 2-1 on Thursday at the Complex but the boys bounced back and defeated the 99ers by the same 2-1 score Saturday in Game 2.  Monday evening was Game 3 to decide the championship and the boys skated to a 4-2 victory.  The Vets are now off the St Catharines April 11-13 for the Alliance ...

The Major Novice Navy Vets have pushed the East Central Alliance Championship series to a third and deciding game vs the Brantford 99ers.  Game 1 was Thursday night at the Complex where the boys played well but dropped a close 2-1 decision to go down 1 game to nothing.  However, in Game 2 Saturday morning at the Gretzky Centre in Brantford the boys came back strong and returned the favour handing the Brantford team a 2-1 defeat - knotting the series at a game a piece.  Game 3 - that will decide the East Central Novice Champion will be held Monday March 31 at 7pm at the Gretzky centre in ...

The Major Novice Navy Vets advanced to the East / Central Tier 2 finals with a victory over the Kitchener Jr Rangers Saturday.  The boys clinched the 4 point series with a 4-2 victory over the Jr Rangers Saturday morning in Kitchener.  Earlier in the week the Vets hosted the Jr Rangers at the Complex and defeated them by the same 4-2 score.  The Vets now await the winner of the Brantford vs Hamilton series for their opponent in the finals.  The boys also secured a spot in the Alliance Championships in St Catharines April 11-13 with the series win.  Great work boys and good luck in the ...

The Major Novice Navy Vets wrapped up the 2013-2014 regular season on Sunday with a 6-2 victory over the host Kitchener Jr Rangers White.  The victory gave the boys a 14 game undefeated streak to close out the regular season and second place in the East Central Alliance Tier 2 division.  The Brantford 99ers finished 1 point ahead of the Vets to take first place in the division.  The Navy Vets will host the Kitchener Jr Rangers on Tuesday evening at the Complex in the opening game of their best 2 of 3 semi-final playoff round.  Game 2 is back in Kitchener on Saturday March 22.  Good luck boys ...
