Major Novice Navy Vets Hot in February!
February has been good for the Major Novice Navy Vets! The boys are on a 4 game winning streak in league play that has them alone in 2nd in the Central Alliance Eastern division. The streak started February 2 in Hamilton with a 2-1 win. Then the boys had a great weekend sweeping the teams from Kitchener to extend the streak to 3. They defeated the Kitchener Jr Rangers - White 5-1 on Saturday and beat the Kitchener Jr Rangers - Blue 3-2 on Sunday. The forth win in a row in February came on the road tonight in Cambridge when the Vets defeated the Hawks 4-1.
The boys also had a very good weekend at the Bradford Blue & Gold Classic Tournament February 8-10. The Vets went 3-0 in the round robin but lost in the Championship final 4-2 to the Vaughan Rangers.
