Hello U8 Families,
We would like to thank all the players who participated in the U8 evaluations for the 2023-2024 season. To say this process has been a challenge for the evaluators and coaching staff would be an understatement. This group of hockey players is very special!
To all the players; the energy, excitement, effort, and abilities that you brought to these evaluations at this age is incredible. To the parents; you should all be very proud of your son or daughter regardless of the outcome of these evaluations. We would like to thank you for allowing them the opportunity to try out. Each player tried their best and had a very good opportunity to make this team.
Our evaluation team took many factors into consideration when deciding on the team this year. We not only were evaluating the players on their skills and abilities, but also looking at things like attitude, character, leadership, listening abilities, and paying attention.
Unfortunately, we can only select 18 players for this team. If your number is not listed below, you are encouraged to stay motivated and continue to improve your skills and abilities for next year. Keep working hard and having FUN! We wish you all the best in the upcoming hockey season.
Congratulations to all the players who were successful in being selected. Our first practice is going to be Monday, September 25, 2023 at 5:00 PM on the Green pad at the Complex. More communication will be provided soon!
