The team traveled to Vaughan this weekend for our first tournament. Despite our record of 2 losses and 1 tie, the boys stayed in all the games and were right there with all the GTHL teams. It was great to see the boys connect on and off the ice! Thanks to all parents (and grandparents) for accompanying and supporting the team. A special thanks to Dave and Allison Leger for organizing the team pizza lunch. Keep up the great work boys and come READY to play to all practices and games over our next busy few weeks!

The weekend started with an exhibition game at Budweiser Gardens against Stratford Warriors followed by the team attending a London Knights Game. It was great to see the players join together to share this exciting experience. After a tough loss to Stratford, the team game back to win both regular season games on Saturday and Sunday. The boys confidence soared and it was great to see them "wanting the puck", keeping their skates moving, and playing as a team. The goalies backed up the team with some big saves. The team had a good showing in their first exhibition game, despite losing to Norwich 5-2. The players have been working hard at practices on their passing, skating, and team cohesion and it showed in tonight's game. Keep up the great work players and keep your skates moving!

A big thanks to everyone that came out to tryouts. Everyone worked hard and made my decisions difficult. I wish everyone the best of luck next year! For those players selected for the team, an email will be sent out within one week with further information, requests for parent volunteers to fill the remaining team positions, and scheduling of a team meeting. Anyone wishing to volunteer for any positions can email me at any time. Looking forward to a great hockey season! Coach Eric
