Great Lakes Preseason Challenge Champions!!!!
Submitted By Chris Martin on Monday, September 28, 2015
The Woodstock Jr Navy Vets Minor Atom Rep team captured the Great Lakes Preseason Challenge Squirt A1 championship this past weekend in Holland, Michigan.

The boys completed the round robin at 4-0 with wins over the Mississauga Jets 2-1, Glenview Stars (Illinois) 4-0, Vernon Hills Ice Dogs (Illinois) 5-1 and LaSalle Sabers 4-0.  The team met the Glenview Stars in the final where they came out on top with a score of 3-0.

The boys continued our defence first mentality by only allowing two goals over the five games of the tournament.  These boys worked their tales off all weekend.  They made memories for life both on and off the ice.  The coaching staff is very proud of the effort of all the players.
