The Woodstock Jr. Navy Vets Novice MD team captured the Alliance Novice Tier 2 championship this weekend in St. Catharines.  The boys went undefeated in the round robin portion of the tournament beating West London Hawks (4-2), Sarnia Jr. Sting (3-0) and Kitchener Jr. Rangers (4-0).  The team earned a bye into the final against the West London Hawks.

The boys saved their best for the final game as they were all over West London defeating them 5-0.  A complete team effort especially towards team defence was one of the main contributing factors to winning the championship.

The boys should be very proud of everything they have accomplished this year.  Congratulations boys!!!!!

The boys travelled to London on Saturday for a morning of off-ice and on-ice training with Total Package Hockey.  The coaching staff wanted to change things up leading to the Alliance Championships this coming weekend.

The players participated in a series of shooting, stickhandling and agility drills before then going on the ice.  It was a great team bonding event as all players were able to attend.

A very big thank you to Kevin from TPH and his staff that provided the instruction for the morning.
