Major Novice Navy Vets on a 5 Game Winning Streak!
The Major Novice Navy Vets extended their winning streak to 5 games with a 5-1 win in Hamilton Sunday vs the Hamilton Tigers. After a well played scoreless first period - the Vets scored twice in the second period and 3 more times in the third to claim victory. Goal scorers were Connor Readman (2), Luke Stratton, Logan Van den Akker and Ben Symons. Hayden White was solid in net stopping all but one Hamilton scoring chance. A well rounded effort by everyone on the team. Congratulations to the Vet "Players of the Game" - Brady Carne and Connor Readman.
Overall, it was the best weekend of hockey for the boys thus far. They played 2 of the top teams in their loop (Kitchener and Hamilton) and came away with two impressive wins. Well done boys!!
