Welcome to the U11 B/BB hockey tryouts! We are thrilled about your interest in joining the team and look forward to seeing your skills on the ice. Below you will find all the necessary information about the tryouts.
Following each tryout, please check the 2025-2026 U11 travel B team news page. Information regarding releases and next steps for successful players will be posted every evening.
Evaluation Criteria
Players will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
- Work ethic and attitude
- Hockey IQ
- Skating
- Puck handling and shooting
Expectations and Conduct
- Arrive at least 30 minutes prior to each session for check-in and warm-up.
- Respect all coaches, teammates, and volunteers.
- Demonstrate sportsmanship, effort, and a positive attitude.
- Listen carefully to instructions and feedback from coaches.
Upcoming Season
- Minimum of 2 practices per week
- Player goal setting
- 2 games per week
- 3-4 tournaments
- Off ice team building and conditioning
