Our Jr. Navy Vets traveled down to Alvinston for the 35th annual Regional Silverstick Tournament at the beginning of December, shortly after qualifying for the Alliance AA Loop. After dropping their first round robin game, the boys came together as a group and ran the table - winning their next 4 straight games on route to being crowned the "Southern Region" Silver Stick Champs. It was a true team effort and their 2nd tournament win this season. Congrats Boys!!!
The Vets will continue their Silver Stick journey when they travel down to Sarnia for Finals this coming weekend to play against some of the top teams from Ontario and the United States. There are 15 teams in total (8 American & 7 Canadian) who will be vying for the title - International Silver Stick Champion.

The Vets have also completed the first 1/3 of their AA Loop, which is comprised on 7 teams this year. Thus far, the boys have been playing some of their best hockey through Christmas and into the New Year, going 4-0-2 in their AA group and remaining undefeated in their last 10 games.
