Tryouts
Thank you to all those who attended the Select tryouts!
After the tryout, the team has extended the offer of a position on the team to 11 skaters. As such, we still have room for a minimum of 3 forwards and 1 d'man. And if you attended the first tryout and were not accepted, you will be at a minimum AP'd to the team as everyone who attended has the skill capable to compete at this level.
We did this to establish that a select team is viable as we have now met the standard number of players required. Any rumours that there will not be a midget select team should now be put to rest.
We will have one more tryout on Oct 5th to finalize the team. And to do so, we are attempting to set up an exhibition game for the final tryout. Therefore, if you are interested in attending the final tryout, I am asking that you contact me via email to express your interest in participating no later than the 1st of October so we can include you in the roster for the game.
My thanks to all that have attended so far and congratulations to those that have been accepted. I believe we will have a very competitive team and an outstanding season!
