Minor Bantam Rep Tryouts - Welcome!!!!
We would like to welcome everyone to Minor Bantam rep tryouts for 2019.  We have a very tight tryout schedule so it is important to reference our team website throughout the tryout process.   The website is where players will be informed of exhibition game lineups and player releases.

Body Checking Clinic

With this being the first season of body contact, each player is required to participate in a Body Checking clinic.  The Body Checking clinic in Woodstock is on April 23rd starting at 6:15 pm in Goff Hall at the Southwood Complex.  After the off-ice session, the players will go on the ice from 8:15 pm to 9:05 pm.  For those attending the clinic, you must pay your $60 tryout fee on site if you have not already paid through the Hockey Canada registration.

NRP Players

Those NRP players participating in the body checking clinic must have their paperwork from their home centre with them to be permitted to participate in the body checking clinic.  Please ensure to have that paperwork in hand when attending.

Parent Meeting

We will have a parent meeting for those players still participating in tryouts prior to the exhibition game on Tuesday at 6:45 pm in the meeting area off the red pad.  If you are unsure where this is, please ask the volunteers at the registration desk.  One parent from each player still participating in tryouts is required to attend this meeting.

Player Equipment

Please take the time to look at your player’s equipment for fit and safety.  We do not want to but we may have to not allow players on the ice if they’re equipment is not safe.  We are more looking at players that have outgrown their hockey pants to the point where you don’t know if they are going to play hockey or playing point guard for the 1986 Utah Jazz aka John Stockton.

Should you have questions regarding the process please contact Jack Vessoyan at [email protected] or Chris Martin at [email protected]
