Tyke Selects Open Up Exhibition Schedule
The Tyke Select team opened up their exhibition schedule with two away games, against St. Thomas and Brantford.
Without a single practice as a team, the youngest Jr. Vets took to the ice for the first time this season against the St. Thomas Stars. The team really focused on the game plan and skated to a 7-3 win! Game Stars: Alexandria M., who showed a lot of hustle & Nate L. who played a great game in net!
On a snowy Wednesday night, the Vets made their way to Brantford for a showdown against the 99ers. The 99ers stormed out to a 4-0 lead after the first period. Showing a lot of heart, the mighty little Vets answered with 4 goals in the second to tie it all up! Brantford was able to net a couple goals late in the game to give them a 6-4 win. Game Stars: Eric J., who was a wall on defense & Dakota T. who assisted on 2 goals!
