Travel Hockey Evaluations & Registration (2026–2027 Season)
The evaluation and registration process remains the same as last season. Please review the steps below to ensure your player is properly registered and eligible to participate.
1. Registering for Evaluations (Try-Outs)
To attend evaluations, you must add the WMHA try-out fee to your player’s Spordle profile.
Registration will open on April 1, 2026.
Be sure to select the correct age group for the 2026–2027 season (based on birth year).
Payment must be completed before your player is permitted on the ice. No registrations will be completed at the arena prior to the ice time.
For U10 and above, players may register for evaluations in multiple centres by adding the appropriate try-out fees in Spordle.
2. Evaluation Process (U10 and Above)
Spring evaluations do not guarantee a minimum number of ice times.
Players may be released at any point, including after the first session.
No refunds will be issued once a player attends 1 ice time.
3. Playing-Up Requests

The form can be found under the "Registration" tab on the website, then "Request to Play-Up"

This form must be completed and emailed to [email protected] a minimum of 30 days prior to the first scheduled evaluation ice time for the specific age group

Once registration opens on Spordle, you will be required to add a separate try-out fee for both the older age group and your player’s own age group
4. Roster Offers
When a player is selected, families will receive an email with an offer link sent to the address listed in Spordle.
This link will direct you to your Spordle account to accept or decline the offer.
Offers are time-sensitive and must be responded to within the provided window.
If you receive offers from multiple centres, you may only accept one.
5. Season Registration
Once you accept an offer, you will be prompted to complete your full season registration in Spordle for 2026–2027.
