Hello Woodstock Minor Hockey!

We hope you all have been safe and healthy throughout these unprecedented times.

We just wanted to touch base with you all about the upcoming 2020-2021 season.

If you wish to play and have not registered, please reach out to the Director of your child's age group to see if there is space or to add your name to the waiting list.

Following the Return to Play safety protocols, there will be no try outs in the month of September.  The first 4 weeks of hockey will be development ice. Travel players are to go to the ice time of the team they were on last season for skills development. Example - U11 Rep last season reports to ice times for U12 Rep. If you don’t want to report to the rep team that you where on, please let me know and I can add you to the house league list, which will begin the end of September.

If you are moving into Woodstock please contact Pat Langdon (WMHA office) and she will add you to a team list.

After this and in consultation with the City of Woodstock and the Board of Health we hope to move into phase 3c, where we will be able to have modified games and begin to schedule try outs with the objective of starting the season in January. Once the city releases WMHA ice time, it will be posted it on the web page.

PLEASE NOTE:
We have strict rules to how many can come into the arena, and there will be a check in table and check out for all ice times.

-Players U11 and under will be required to come dressed and they will put their skates on in their assigned area.
-Players U12 and up if they don’t want to come dressed, they will be given dressing rooms.

**Players have to arrive at the arena 15 minutes before their scheduled ice time, sign in and then proceed into the arena. You cannot arrive after your ice time has begun, you will be turned away. Also, if your name is not on the list then you will not be able to enter.**

It will only be 1 parent or guardian allowed in with no younger siblings.

After their ice time, they will only have 15 minutes to take skates and equipment off and leave the arena as a group.

~Under the Reopening Ontario Act, face coverings must be worn inside all buildings.~

Thank you for your understanding and patience as we work through this together.
