What's Happening (Woodstock Minor Hockey)

PrintWhat's Happening
Hello Woodstock Minor Hockey!

We hope you all have been safe and healthy throughout these unprecedented times.

We just wanted to touch base with you all about the upcoming 2020-2021 season.

Registration is open. However, we are not accepting payment at this time as we await formal direction from Hockey Canada / OHF on the how the season will look.

When the office is back open and running, we will have debit and credit card payments available, as well as an option for three equal payments  by cheque/money order (Due August 30, September 30 and October 30).

There are many meetings being held at all levels behind the scenes as the rules and regulations are constantly changing. We are actively monitoring the situation, and reviewing all updates from the government, health authorities, and our governing federations.

Just to add a disclaimer as well, that the timelines for coaching, when we take the ice, and so on, have all been affected by the emergency measures and have therefore been pushed back a bit. As soon as we have dates, we will get them out to the association.

If you are looking to take a more active role in our association, we are looking for a Director of Outreach.                       The Outreach Director coordinates and supervises all fundraising activities for the Corporation (including all travel team fundraising);  They shall ensure that all fundraising by teams complies with the rules of the Corporation and city licences. Will coordinate with City Hall for city run events (ie. Canada Day & Cowapolooza), supervising Woodstock Minor Hockey Association volunteers for the events, as well as coordinating volunteers as needed within the corporation for tryouts, house-league evaluation, tournaments, and WMHA run events.

Thank you for your understanding and patience as we work through this together.
