Rule Change Amendments for MD and House League Hockey
Submitted By Gordon Whitehead on Saturday, June 9, 2018
Minor hockey board has made changes to amend the number of teams required for house league in order for MD to be considered. As a result of the new interlock with Minor Novice – Major Bantam for house league the board has made the following changes. House league hockey will have a minimum 2 teams with  12 players and 1 goalie. This will be in a league of 10+ teams with Brantford Minor and Brantford Church. A total of possible 27 games with hopefully more than half in Woodstock. There will be no changes or interlock within the midget/juvenile division.

As a result of this rule change we have opened the opportunity for MD teams in these age groups Minor Novice – Minor Midget. This was done to allow WMHA players the opportunity to play and develop at all levels of hockey while still providing a quality league and experience for all house league players.

Hopefully this will help clarify and remove any uncertainty’s as to what program Woodstock Minor Hockey will be  offering for the upcoming hockey season and encourage players to register before the deadline of June 15th, 2018 and avoid late fees. This will aid WMHA in planning this new season to provide a quality season for our players.

Full payment is not required at time of registration . Registrant's can take advantage of our payment plan if you choose. The plan includes 4 cheques dated June 15, July 15, August 15 and September 15, 2018.

Please feel free if you have any question to contact any board member or the WMHA office.
