Job Title: Registrar/Administrative Assistant
Organization: Woodstock Minor Hockey Association
Location: Remote (with occasional in-person meetings in Woodstock, ON)
Type: Part-Time (30 hours/month)
Compensation: $1,000/month (paid monthly)
Term: August – May (seasonal position)

Position Overview: The Woodstock Minor Hockey Association (WMHA) is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Registrar/Administrative Assistant to support our operations. This is a part-time, remote position ideal for someone with strong administrative skills and a passion for youth sports.

Key Responsibilities:
- Complete and manage all player registrations using the Hockey Canada Registry (HCR)
- Organize and submit team rosters (including players and bench staff) for approval through Spordle/HCR
- Ensure all required information and approvals are received in a timely manner
- Adhere to all deadlines and policies set by Hockey Canada, Alliance Hockey, and WMHA
- Attend 1–2 meetings per month (virtual and occasionally in-person at the Reeves Community Complex)
- Communicate regularly with team managers, coaching staff, parents, and the WMHA General Manager
- Collaborate with Alliance Hockey, the Ontario Hockey Federation, and Hockey Canada during training and information sessions
- Other administrative tasks, as assigned

Qualifications:
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong communication skills are essential
- Previous administrative experience or background in Sports Management is preferred - Experience with Spordle or similar sports registration systems is a strong asset
- Ability to work independently, manage varying workloads, and meet deadlines
- Comfortable with remote work, Outlook and Microsoft Office  

Additional Information:
- This role will average 30 hours per month, with the busiest periods typically being September/October and April/May
- Flexibility is key, as weekly hours may fluctuate throughout the month
- Anticipated start date is August 25, 2025
- Full training will be provided and will be a mixture of in-person at the Minor Hockey Office (Reeves Community Complex), and virtual meetings
- Personal work laptop will be provided
