Volunteer Opportunity
Canada day festivities are back in Woodstock!
That means everyone's favourite volunteer opportunity is also back!
This year, the Canada day set up looks a little different location wise (still at Southside though!). We actually will need more volunteers this year and students going in to Grade 9+ for September 2022 can also get some volunteer hours! They are also allowed to do more than one 2-hour slot for this event in order to get their family bond back plus hours for community service, or just more community service hours.
This also means that if a parent or guardian wishes to complete the 2 hour bond commitment during the same time slot as their student does their community service hours, it will be permitted for this event. Students will be paired with an adult at all locations except at the Inflatable Course and Ferris Wheel where they will have someone from the company with them to connect with.
**There is a position that will require a valid driver's license this year, as they will be shuttling from parking to their specific locations. Please take not of that position on the volunteer document.**
When filling out the online volunteer form, please put in your choice of location and which two time slots that you prefer. Sarah Rider will contact you about your time slot, confirm your position, and provide more information about the event. You can find the online volunteer form here.
