City Update QR Code
Submitted By Sarah Rider on Thursday, December 16, 2021
The Ontario Government announced that effective January 4, 2022, requiring the use of the enhanced vaccine certificate with QR code and the Verify Ontario app in settings where proof of vaccination is required.

The QR code can be used digitally or by printing a paper copy. Individuals can download their enhanced certificate with QR code by visiting https://covid-19.ontario.ca/book-vaccine/  ID is still required with the enhanced vaccine certificate.

Also organizations and businesses that are under the provincial proof-of-vaccination system will be advised to no longer accept physician notes as of January 10, 2022.

IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THE QR CODE YOU WILL NOT BE GRANTED ACCESS.

All individuals age 12 and up must be prepared to show proof of vaccination and ID every single time. Also we would like to take this moment to remind everyone that masks are required at all times in the Facility except when on the ice surface. This includes dressing rooms, lobby, etc. Please ensure your mask is worn properly.

City staff are working hard to ensure the doors remain open. They greatly appreciate your cooperation and understanding. They also remind you that if at any time you find the guidelines are not for you please take a pause from visiting.

For those turning twelve in 2022, there has been an update on the timeframe to get the vaccine. Please find the info here LTR SWPH LOI for Sports and Recreation Facilities 20211116 UPDATED
