Submitted By Gordon Whitehead on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 (190 views)In response to concerns raised by members, this year the board has enacted a policy change for players entering Midget/Juvenile House League from Bantam. Players who would prefer, for safety reasons, to remain in Bantam in their Minor Midget year may request this through the office. Permission will be required by the director.
The concern was raised that players vary substantially in size at these ages and not all players feel confident moving into that age group if they are not yet physically prepared. WMHA strives to provide a safe and pleasant hockey experience for all our members and we believe this addresses the concern raised to us. Contact the Director of Bantam/Midget House League or the WMHA Hockey Office for further details.
